Frequently Asked Questions
What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is a comprehensive and non-invasive examination of a residential property's condition. The purpose of a home inspection is to provide an objective assessment of the property's overall condition, including its structural integrity, safety, and the functionality of its various systems and components.
How much do inspections cost?
There is a fixed fee of $500 for homes within 20 miles of the 49503 zip code (less than 2,500 square feet and built after 1935). The fee is reduced if only certain areas are to be inspected (electrical for example).
How can the inspection fee be paid?
Blue Bridge Home Inspection, LLC accepts cash, checks, and credit cards as forms of payment. Please note that there is a 2.75% processing fee for credit card transactions.

The on-site inspection will last roughly 6 - 8 hours. Clients are encouraged to attend (although not required) and ask questions throughout the inspection. The electronic report will be submitted either that same day or the following day. If there are time constraints, please let us know, and we will work with you to ensure there are no delays.
